What states do you practice in?
I am currently credentialed in Georgia and Iowa and can see clients who reside in both states.
How often should I see a therapist?
Everyone’s needs are different, but most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and consistency. As you progress, we can adjust the frequency based on your goals and needs.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. As a counselor/therapist I cannot prescribe any medications. However, I can collaborate with your primary care doctor, OB-GYN, or psychiatrist, with your written consent.
Do I need a referral to start therapy?
No referral is needed to begin therapy. You can reach out directly to schedule a consultation or your first session.
Are sessions in person?
At this time, sessions are offered virtually via a HIPAA compliant secure video platform. This flexibility allows us to meet in a way that best suits your comfort and lifestyle.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in network with all major insurance providers. If you’re using out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. It’s always a good idea to check your specific plan details before starting.
How much is your session rate?
Session fees are between $150 and $185. I offer limited sliding scale spots based on need and availability.
